Like the LBD the LBJ (little black jacket) is extremely universal. After seeing a growing trend of LBJ appearing in runway shows and fashion magazines I knew this was a new must have for fall....


Being easily convinced that I was lacking in the fashion department if I didn't find a chic LBJ for fall- I began rummaging through my trusty store list. I found the perfect affordable LBJ from Bebe that I knew would hold a significance in my wardrobe.

As a blogger, it is my job to voice my opinion on subjects that matter the most to me. Pole dancing... Not your typical aerobic class. Well it turns out that many health clubs and gyms are adding it to their weekly schedule. Not only this but the classes are almost always packed! It turns out that Romey and Mitchell were no fools for working out in their heels. If that doesnt convice you to try pole dancing, when was the last time you saw a fat stripper? hummm.. Maybe give aerobic pole dancing a second thought???

Liquid/Leather leggings are EVERYWHERE! In almost every fashion magazine I have picked up recently I have spotting a celeb wearing them. Honestly, I give them mad props for wearing them in PUBLIC! If I put on those skintight, form fitting, unforgiving pants, not only would it be a fashion don't it would be a fashion disgrace! Leather leggings please go AWAY...FAR FAR AWAY!

I'm feeling HOT HOT HOT

I have recently became an addict. I have became SO addicted that two days without it, I feel like a fat lazy slob. My addiction is Bikram Yoga aka Hot Yoga. I was always the person completely against yoga. My ideal exercise is pushing my body to its extremes, sweating to tunes on my Ipod, and listening to someone yell,"One more set!" I always felt that yoga = boredom. UNTIL, I went to my first Hot yoga class. I researched online before actually testing it out, interesting enough burning 900 calories in a 90 min. class is enough for me to give a whirl. I mean, all you would be doing is stretching in an oven, right? Hardly so! Bikram yoga test your strength, stamina, balance, and flexibility ALL at the same time. Not only making it difficult but also extremely challenging. As an avid gym-goer Bikram yoga worked my body in ways a gym simply could not. It worked my body from the inside out. My suggestion? Give it a try, and try it more than once. Each time is easier, however each time is still challenging. It is a great way to spice up any exercise routine, and get out of a rut. I promise, you will be pleased!

Hermes' does an excellent job of showing how great the print can look when paired with a suede boots and a leather jacket. Want a casual evening look? Recipe of the Day....

Three of my favorite foods in the summertime usually consist of...

1. Deliciously rip fruits, such as strawberries, mangos, and pineapple

2. Seafoods

3. Salads

So when I ran into this recipe I automatically knew it was more than likely going to be a winner

Mango Salsa!!!

Ingredients
1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and diced (about 1 1/2 cup)

1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped

1 Jalapeño chile, minced (include ribs and seeds for a hotter taste if desired)

1 small cucumber, peeled and diced (about 1 cup)

3 Tbsp fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

3 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste
Also good with diced red bell pepper and jicama.
Method
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If the salsa ends up being a little too hot or acidic for your taste, you can temper it by adding some diced avocado.

This Salsa can be used to spruce up Seafoods, add in salads, or a fruity twist of traditional mexican salsa.

I have to bare some great news to you folks... First off, Sit down, take a deep breath, maybe even grab you a drink of water... Now calmly read this words out loud....... It has been confirmed by HBO that Sex and the City WILL be returning to the big screen... I repeat, Carrie and the girls WILL be back with more fashion, sex, relational screw-ups, and Manolos.




During my beach vacay, I picked up some magazines to read at while basting in the sun, when i ran across the article in Intouch. I was so intrigued that i imeditately googled (the 21st century way of conformation) SATC sequel. Just when I began coping with my life after Sex and the City, the girls do it again! I had to take a breather to keep from screaming my lungs out. However, it will be a while before productions because scripts and negotiations have not been completed. Now go and spread the word!!!!!

A legend will endure time....

For starters, As I was browsing through internet sites, catching up on my fashion news, I discovered that Fashion Legend Yves Sanit Laurent passed away this week. I have been a fan of his work for many years, pre-retirment. This saddens the fashion world, but in another light it is great to know that his work lives on through his influences on current and future designers.



In another light, I have two words for you...... Karl Lagerfield. If you haven't heard of this man, you have been living under a rock! On May 16th Lagerfield launched Chanels new resort 2009 line. Needless to say the runway show was over the top! Lagerfield is known for his over-the-top runway show and this one was nothing less than extravagent! When I figure out how to post videos, Ill post a video of the runway and part of the show, until then these photos will have to do....

I bet you never knew.....

Toliet seat covers double as oil blot papers. So next time you go to the loo, make sure to wipe your face too :)
